How we built Hears an AI Hearing Concierge that learns from every product question
Hearing protection is not a one-size-fits-all purchase. A customer shopping for a festival, a club, sleep, or motorsports arrives with a different exposure profile, comfort threshold, and reason to hesitate.
The opportunity was larger than answering support questions. Hears needed a customer-facing decision layer that could recommend the right setup and an internal intelligence layer that could show the team what buyers still did not understand.
We connected those two jobs in one supervised system: a Hearing Concierge for the visitor and a voice-of-customer engine for the business.

A personal product decision instead of a generic FAQ
The Concierge opens with the context that actually decides the purchase: what the visitor is protecting their hearing from, how long they will wear the product, how sensitive they are to sound, and whether discretion, comfort, attenuation, or price matters most.
It uses those answers to recommend a product or bundle, explain the fit and protection trade-offs in plain language, and answer the delivery and return questions that usually stall a checkout. A festival visitor and a sleep customer do not receive the same recommendation dressed in different words.
When a visitor is still uncertain, the agent narrows the choice instead of pushing the most expensive item: it explains what changes between two options, what stays the same, and which one fits the stated use. Confident customers move straight into checkout with the reasoning already in front of them.
Every conversation improves the next campaign and product page
Questions, objections, abandoned recommendations, and stated reasons for not buying are captured as structured signals instead of disappearing inside individual chats. Each signal keeps its context, so the business can see whether hesitation came from price, fit, delivery, or unclear product differences.
An internal agent clusters those signals and prepares weekly proposals: new FAQ entries, new product-page sections, paid-media hooks built from real objections, and creative briefs for the angles customers keep asking about.
The team stays in control of what ships. It reviews the proposals, approves the wording, and only then updates the live page, the ad account, or the support macros, so customer conversation becomes a continuous research channel rather than another dashboard nobody reads.

guided product support across markets
Hears now has one layer that helps a customer choose and another that explains why customers hesitate. The same interaction that resolves a fit or protection question also improves the next product page, support answer, and campaign concept.
Because the recommendation logic and the voice-of-customer logic share one source of truth, the business no longer guesses what buyers do not understand. It reads the questions they actually asked, in the markets they asked them.
The result is not another chatbot. It is a conversion and learning system that gets more useful every week it runs.
